Another cracking vlog, Mark! Skip Roberts here from Hampshire Scout Group. The S’mores craft is genius – already picturing my Cubs having a go at that (minus the eating, of course!). And the DIY crazy golf? That’s got ‘winter hall activity’ written all over it for us. The Dutch oven lid pizza is a game-changer too; always looking for new campfire cooking twists. So many great, practical ideas in one place, as always. Keep up the fantastic work inspiring us all!

S’mores craft for the Cubs? Genius! Just hide the real marshmallows ’til afterwards, eh? DIY crazy golf in the hall – sounds like organised chaos, my favourite kind! And that Dutch oven lid pizza – campfire gourmet, that is!
Cheers for the cracking feedback!
Keep on Scouting!

Great stuff again this week, Mark! Loved this roundup of ideas. That S’mores craft looks like a definite winner for us, and I’m already thinking about how to adapt the crazy golf for our younger ones. The Dutch oven lid pizza is a brilliant tip – will be trying that one out at our next family camp for sure! Always appreciate these practical, fun ideas you share. Keep ’em coming!
All the best,
Pip “Badger” Smith
Pip “Badger” Smith, fantastic! Glad the S’mores craft looks like a winner – just make sure they don’t try to eat the clay ones! 😉 Adapting crazy golf for the younger ones? Brilliant – they’ll love it! And Dutch oven pizza at family camp – sounds like a proper treat! Cheers for the great feedback, always chuffed to hear these ideas resonate.
All the best,

Brilliant vlog this week, Mark! Always good to see what gems you’ve unearthed. This is “Akela” Jones from a small village you won’t of heard of in Devon Cubs. The whittling gnomes are definitely going on our programme – a great way to introduce knife skills safely. I’m also very tempted by the crazy golf idea for an indoor challenge, and that Dutch oven lid pizza technique is inspired! Thanks for keeping our programme planning fresh and exciting.
Cheers,
Akela

Hey Akela,
Brilliant! Glad the whittling gnomes are set to sharpen those Cub skills (safely, of course!). Crazy golf for an indoor challenge – top shout. And that Dutch oven lid pizza? Pure campfire magic, eh? Keep that programme fresh!
Cheers,

Just what I needed to see this week, Mark! Another goldmine of program ideas. This is Sarah ‘Skip’ Davies from the Yorkshire. The Dutch oven lid pizza is a revelation – definitely trying that on our next camp! And those whittling gnomes are perfect for getting our newer Scouts confident with their knives. The crazy golf also looks like a fantastic wet weather activity for the hall. So many useful and creative things packed in. Thanks for always bringing the practical inspiration!
Keep up the great work!
Sarah ‘Skip’ Davies
Hi Sarah!
Brilliant to hear from you all the way in Yorkshire, and thanks so much for the kind words – really chuffed you found the vlog a “goldmine”!
That Dutch oven lid pizza is a cracking little trick, isn’t it? Hope it’s a massive hit on your next camp! And you’re absolutely right, those whittling gnomes are perfect for getting the newer Scouts confident with their knives; it’s all about those small wins.
So glad the crazy golf idea sparked some inspiration for your hall activities too. That’s exactly why I love sharing these finds – to give everyone some fresh, practical inspiration that actually works for our sections.
Would love to hear how they go down with your Troop when you try them out!
Thanks again for watching and for the fantastic feedback!
