Gilwell Reunion 2016

On Friday 1st September I headed down to Gilwell park to team up with The gang from Bushscout as we ran a Practical Skills area for the 90th Gilwell Reunion

About Reunion

Reunion was established to mark the occasion of the first Wood Badge course in 1919. The event has run since 1921 every year (except for four years during the Second World War) and is an opportunity for adults in Scouting to experience an active and educational weekend and to meet up with friends old and new from across the globe. This is a great chance to learn more about projects and programme activities, share knowledge, network and have fun!

About Bushscout

The practical skills alliance!
We are a national community of Scout Leaders who have a passion for teaching traditional and practical Scouting skills to other Scout Leaders. There are many Scout County’s involved in Bushscout, each one is set up as its own team and has a nominated team leader who will co-ordinate local training days as well as communicating with the national alliances.
